API Keys Setup

Cubby Image does not come with Tokens or Keys by itself, you need to provide your own. Please refer to the APIs & Models section to see which models are integrated for each provider.

To use Cubby Image, you need API keys from at least one of the supported providers. This guide will walk you through obtaining keys from each provider.

Overview​

Cubby Image supports three API providers:

  • Replicate - Widest selection of AI models
  • fal.ai - Fast inference and reliable uptime
  • Gemini API - Google's Nano Banana model

You can use one or multiple providers. Each has different pricing and model availability.

Select one or more API providers to set up:

Managing Your API Keys in Settings​

The Settings panel in Cubby Image allows you to manage your API keys for all providers.

Accessing Settings​

  1. Open Cubby Image in Photoshop
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear icon)

Settings Panel Overview​

  • API Key Field: Enter your API key here
  • Show/Hide API Key: Click to show your current input. Saved API keys cannot be shown for security reasons
  • Save: Save your API key
  • Delete: Delete your API key
  • View Terms: (Re)view the terms of use of Cubby Image. The indicator shows whether the terms were accepted (green) or not (red). You need to accept the terms to use Cubby Image
  • Reset Agreement: This resets your agreement to the terms of use
